Attendance

We are a successful academy and you and your child play a significant part in making it so. We aim for an environment which enables and encourages all members of the community to reach out for excellence. For our children to gain the greatest benefit from their education it is vital that they attend regularly, and your child should be at school, on time, every day the school is open unless the reason for the absence is unavoidable. As a school we will work closely with the Education Welfare Service to support regular school attendance. Covid has had a massive impact on children’s learning over the last two years, therefore it is more important than ever that your child attends school every day to catch up on vital learning that they have already missed.

To make parent/carers aware our school target is 96% as this will bring us in line with National Figures.
